LU's BLUES CONSPIRACY

Hi Blues Lovers!

My name is Luis González, born & raised in Asturias, Northern Spain and my lovely wife Carol is a Devonshire lass from England. We’re both passionately-crazy about the Blues and all its derivations; Boogie Woogie, Jump Blues, Jazz, R&B etc. Since my teenage years, back in the sixties, I’ve sympathised with the underdog and from this discovered the Blues scene with its roots coming from the deprived black folks from the southern states of America. I became interested, not o­nly in the music, but also in the rich history & culture behind the most fascinating form of music out there, which has me hooked for life!!

This site, Lu’s Blues Conspiracy, was born from my enthusiasm of the Blues in all its depths and variations. I count myself lucky to have seen so many Blues performers live all over the world, but especially in the USA where they are nearer to the origins of the Blues music and the scene is greater.

I’m certainly not the o­nly person in Spain passionate about the Blues, not by a long chalk. Many of the musicians themselves would love to have an opportunity to tour Spain, hence the concept of Lu's Blues Conspiracy. We wish to share the Blues heritage, passion, and experience through a variety of artists playing live in venues near you!
